Microsoft Data Architect
As a Data Architect, you are at the heart of the organization. You'll be responsible of evaluating the current state of our customer's data systems and identify new solutions to increase efficiency and performance.
Your role
You will support our customers to take control of their data and to get value out of it by defining a reference architecture. This means that you work closely with business leaders and information management teams to define and implement a roadmap on data management, business intelligence or analytics solutions.
You will work on different projects and provide the right Data Platform solutions for our customers.
Your challenges
In your role as Microsoft Architect, you will determine the architecture of the future Data Platform together with the customer. You are ultimately responsible for this, and you will work closely with experienced colleagues to create Data Platforms in Microsoft Data Solutions (On-premises or Azure).
You'll talk to technical people and people from the business to propose the best data model, based on the needs of the customers.
Thanks to your coaching style, you know how to lift other project members to a higher level and become the perfect trainer for new users, new data analysts and data engineers.
You'll take on the following challenges:
Understand the gaps between the existing data and the goals, respecting data quality rules
Design user interfaces and data workflows
Analyze, evaluate and define current database structures
Create and propose solutions to upper management and stakeholders
Design new data workflows and present it to interested parties
Follow the entire process including the developing process flows
Your talents
You have at least five years of experience in the field of Data Intelligence and have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Azure Data Services (Azure Synape, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, etc.) and Microsoft SQL Server Solutions (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and Power BI.
You are familiar with both the technical and user-facing sides of data collection.
You pay meticulous attention to details and have a deep understanding of how even the smallest details fit into the big picture.
Problem-solving skills, critical thinking, flexible, independent and collaborative. Act as a problem solver, structured and analytical.
Good knowledge of Dutch or French and English.
