Solution Sales Lead Microsoft

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solution Sales Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving pre-sales activities, understanding customer requirements, and proposing tailored solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies.

Your challenges

As a Solution Sales Lead, you will be the bridge between our sales team and clients, ensuring that our offerings align with customer expectations and environments. Collaboration with the technical lead and management of a team of consultants will be essential to deliver comprehensive solutions.

  • Lead pre-sales activities by engaging with customers to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives. Translate these requirements into compelling solution offerings utilizing Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Fabric, Databricks, Synaps, Azure, and Data Factory. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as a trusted advisor. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions and how they address customer pain points and strategic goals. 

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners within the larger Microsoft eco-system. 

  • Collaborate with the technical lead and other stakeholders to design innovative solutions that meet customer requirements. Ensure that proposed solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with best practices. 

  • Create detailed proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that articulate the benefits, features, and ROI of our solutions. Customize presentations to address specific customer needs and use cases. 

  • Work closely with the technical lead to manage your team of consultants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. 

  • Stay updated on industry trends, Microsoft technologies, and competitive offerings. Leverage market insights to identify new opportunities and refine our solution offerings. 

  • Assist the sales team in navigating complex sales cycles, including product demonstrations, technical discussions, and negotiations. Provide sales enablement materials and training as needed. 

Your talents

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.  

  • Proven experience in solution sales, pre-sales, or consulting roles within the IT industry, particularly with Microsoft technologies. 

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, Azure, and Data Factory. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to manage and motivate teams. 

  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 

  • Certifications in relevant Microsoft technologies are a plus. 

  • Teamplayer 

  • Good knowledge of FR or NL and English
